Title: Sealed With A Kiss (1/1)
Rating: NC-17
Pairing: Crowley/Castiel
Summary: It started with a partnership.
Spoilers: General season five
Disclaimer: I don't own it.
Written for entangled_now  and her kink meme :)

Crowley wasn't a fool. He knew the danger of approaching the Winchesters. They were a magnet for death and destruction, and they had an angel with them. Angels weren't particularly known for being merciful to demons. Then again, it was the end of the world. Crowley figured it would be acceptable if he gambled a little before the world burned.

Just like he predicted, Sam held the demon-killing knife to his throat, his monstrous body holding him still. Well, Crowley wasn't fighting against the younger Winchester's grip. If Crowley wished it, Sam could have two broken wrists in a heartbeat. Luckily for Sam, Crowley didn't wish it. Dean was drawing in a breath, ready to do the whole "Demons aren't trustworthy" spiel, but Castiel beat him out on it.

"What do you want, Crowley?"

Blue eyes stared past Crowley's body and deep inside of him. The demon had seen humans try to attain such a stare, but only older beings could. Beings like angels. Castiel did not tell Sam to put the knife away as Crowley shifted his weight from one foot to the other.

"I'd like to help." Crowley kept his eyes on Castiel. He didn't care about convincing the Winchesters. They were humans. He could deal with humans. However... Castiel was an angel, one who was falling, but he was still an angel. "I like it here. I don't want to die."

Those blue eyes... Crowley had seen an abundance of jewels in his lifetime, but all the diamonds and sapphires in the world couldn't compare to the angel's eyes. Castiel moved closer to Crowley, into his personal space.

"The word of a demon is nothing unless it's a deal." Castiel's eyes traveled up to Sam. "Release him."

The knife was gone, and Crowley straightened his tie. He raised his two fingers, putting on his best boy-scout impression.

"I solemnly swear---" Crowley's eyes narrowed and everyone could feel the air crackle with static. If Crowley had been a few centuries younger he might have flinched. "Fine. I want to help your doomed cause to save the world."

The words hung in the air, and Crowley wondered if he had to remind Castiel about how demons seal deals when Castiel kissed him. Dean sputtered and Sam looked away. Crowley was... surprised. His clients never kissed him. He always had to grab their suit lapels and battle his way in through teeth and grimacing lips. He had never been kissed by virginal... celestial lips. It was short... the first chaste kiss Crowley had ever received.

Castiel pulled back, face smooth. Crowley only paused for a moment before smirking.

"Well that was a lovely gesture of affection and trust, Castiel, but that's not how deals are sealed." Castiel frowned, a little crinkle forming between his eyebrows. Crowley placed his hand on the angel's shoulder. "I have to kiss you."

Crowley savored the sound of surprise that he swallowed down, his lips sealing over Castiel's like he owned them. His other hand cupped the angel's face, his thumb rubbing soft circles into Castiel's cheek, making him relax. Castiel tasted a little like mint... mint and sugarcane. Like a mohito. Crowley pulled back, and he had time to share a moment of silence with the falling angel. There was no embarrassment, only the satisfaction of two men sealing a business deal.

Of course the silence was ruined when Dean shoved Crowley back and asked Castiel if he was okay. Crowley rolled his eyes and disappeared, knowing that the angel knew where to find him when they needed him.

Some days it was simple things. A rare herb here, a book of Enochian spells there... whatever Crowley happened to have in his possession. And... over the centuries Crowley had come to own a quite a few things. Castiel would appear and would ask to borrow something, even if it only had a one-time-use only value.

It was beginning to form a pattern. Castiel would promise to return, and he would seal the promise with a kiss. Crowley would promise that he would wait for him, and he would kiss Castiel in return.

There were some days that Crowley thought Castiel just wanted to kiss him. But... that would be ludicrous. It was the end of the world, sure, but if the angel wanted wine and romance, he had Dean Winchester.

Not that Dean would woo the angel with old Enochian books and fine brandy like Crowley did. Not that Crowley was wooing the angel anyway. It was... different, having someone centuries old to talk to. Other demons were no fun because Crowley could never trust them. Castiel never lied. They spoke of Rome, Crowley gushing over the sexual positions born in the time while Castiel liked to think about the advances in art. They both agreed that the architecture was glorious.

One night, Castiel kissed him after saying goodnight. Neither of them slept. And neither one made a promise to the other. Crowley stilled, he had been tucking away the chess set they had busied themselves with, and suddenly there were soft lips on his.

It was a bit awkward, but nothing like the bankers and stock brokers he'd had to kiss in the past. It was feather-soft, but not hesitant. He just kissed Crowley like it was how angels said goodbye. Crowley's eyes fluttered shut, and he leaned into the kiss, licking Castiel's lower lip.

And... Castiel opened his mouth for him, and for a brief, soul-stealing second, their tongues slid against each other. It was electric and made Crowley shiver. The angel pulled back, his lips bruised. Crowley wanted to kiss him again even if it was the worst idea in the history of worst ideas.

Crowley said the first thing that came into his head.

"You didn't make a deal with me."

The moment the words left his mouth, Crowley knew he had judged himself poorly. Castiel froze, his face smoothing out into his stone mask. His blue eyes shone dangerously.

"No. I didn't."

The angel left in a flurry of wings, and Crowley was alone.

Two weeks passed, and more apocalypse signs were showing on the news. Crowley kept on checking his Blackberry, but there was nothing. No text messages, no missed calls... nothing. He bit his lip and drank his brandy. It didn't taste as smooth as it did before, so Crowley put the glass down. As soon as the glass touched the marble countertop, he was twisted around and pushed up against his mahogany cabinets.

Castiel was there, looking frayed. His blue eyes were burning bright, too bright, and it reminded Crowley of humans that had fevers. He opened his mouth, to ask what was wrong. Maybe even to apologize, but probably not. Instead, Castiel surged forward, kissing him, just taking his mouth.

Their tongues danced, and it was furious. Crowley was glad he didn't have to breathe or else he would have passed out long ago. Castiel just surged closer, pressing into him. Hard. Crowley pulled away, panting, and then Castiel bit his throat. Crowley could feel his body trembling, and he was so out of his mind he didn't have the sense to be embarrassed about it.

For a moment, they were still.

Castiel broke the peace and soon they were pulling at each other's clothes. Crowley tore through the white shirt, sending the buttons tumbling to the floor as he pulled Castiel into a burning kiss by his tie. The angel ripped apart Crowley's suit, and it was almost scary how strong the little angel was.

With their shirts in shreds, hanging off of them, they kissed, and Crowley decided that one of them had to use their better senses. He pulled back, holding Castiel's shoulders tightly.

"If we're going to do this, we're not going to be like animals. I have a bedroom for a reason."

Castiel's blue eyes never flinched. Not once.

"Very well."

Crowley was soon pressed into his silk sheets. He savored the slide of silk against his skin for a moment before Castiel was on him. Those lips that had never tasted the pleasures of the flesh pressed into his neck. Crowley's hands ran down Castiel's spine, making the angel shiver under his fingertips.

He brought the angel up for a kiss and swiftly reached to the side and retrieved a small tube from the beside table. He opened it with one hand while stroking Castiel with the other, fascinated by the way Castiel's lips fell open in a silent moan. Crowley swiped his thumb over the head and this time he was able to get the angel to whimper, those beautiful blue eyes fluttering shut.

Pulling his hand away despite the low whine that rang free from Castiel's throat, Crowley put some slick onto his fingers and reached down between his own legs. The angel was panting, his eyes shining brightly. Crowley smirked.

"Give me a minute, love, I've just got to get ready for---"

Castiel's mouth was on his, and Crowley heard him hum against his lips. The angel steadied Crowley so he could properly plunder his mouth while Crowley tried to open himself up. Castiel may have never indulged himself in sexual practices, but he was apparently a fast learner when he put his mind to it. He sucked on Crowley's tongue, nibbled on his lower lip and then bit down on it.

"Fuck it. I'm ready. Come on."

Crowley flipped the angel back onto the magic and practically climbed on top of him. Castiel kissed him again, the angel really seemed to like kissing, as Crowley slowly sank down on him. It had been a while since Crowley had taken a part in this particular form of sex, and it was surprising how... slow he had to take it. Castiel's blue eyes were wide, and he pulled back. His cheeks were pink, and his body trembled.

The angel opened his mouth, and Crowley smirked and clenched around Castiel. The angel bucked his hips, his face hot.

Smirking, Crowley sank down all the way, savoring Castiel's helpless moans.

"It's not so bad, is it?"

Castiel shook his head slightly, then a little more firmly. He rolled his hips, and this time it was Crowley who hummed. Then Castiel put his hands on Crowley's hips, his finger digging into his skin and he began to find a rhythm that had Crowley's mouth falling open. Small, breathless noises were forced out of him, and when the angel changed the angle of his hips ever so slight, Crowley let out a genuine moan.

"Oh... Castiel..."

The angel bit his shoulder, and that did Crowley in. Such a passionate, animalistic act of sex... and Castiel fell prey to it. Crowley's voice whimpered Castiel's name in awe as he came, and he felt Castiel's hips stutter. The angel keened and it was over for them both. Crowley was vaguely aware of Castiel reaching up to cover Crowley's eyes as they were engulfed in light.

Suddenly it wasn't about pleasure anymore. It was something on a level that Crowley was no where near authorized to be. It was holy, it was awe, it was creation and destruction. He saw the rise and fall of civilizations, the crescendo of mankind with a steady harmony of life behind it.

He came to, breathing hard. His vision was fuzzy, and couldn't stop shaking. Castiel was silent, his cheeks red and his eyes blinking. They both didn't say a word, but Castiel kissed him.

It was enough.

"Death, huh?"

"Yes." Castiel was calm as ever. Crowley watched the angel sheath a silver blade that sent shivers down the demon's spine. "The angels will try to intervene. We have to stop them."

Crowley snorted, his hands in his pockets.

"Right. No problem. One thing, I can't kill an angel." He held out his hands, raising an eyebrow. "I'm just a demon."

The angel looked up at him as if that fact hadn't occurred to him. The moment was quick, and he quickly reached into his bag. He pulled out another blade and held his hand out to Crowley. The demon was barley able to raise his hand to accept the metal. It stung his hand slightly.

"This will kill an angel."

Oh. Right. Crowley got used to the weight of the blade in his hand, and nodded. Castiel's lips twitched. The trees around them began to shake, and noises that would tear through a human's eardrum sliced through the wind. Crowley kept his back straight and didn't tremble in the face of almost certain doom. He chuckled to himself, and Castiel raised his brow quizzically. Crowley just smiled up at the angel of Thursday.

"I just... I never imagined that I'd die next to an angel."

Castiel was quiet for a moment, then he dipped down and kissed the demon. It was fierce, the throb of adrenalin stinging Crowley's lips. The angel pulled back just as the angels appeared.

"When I pictured my death, I imagined that I would die next to a friend." He turned toward his brothers and drew his sword. "I am content."

I love this, I love every part of it. The way it's all about the kisses and then not about the kisses at all. The way it's quiet and subtle and then pushy. I'm just in love with it and I'm going to go and read it again :D

I am so happy you wrote me Crowley-fic. I think you have made Crowley/Castiel my new guilty pleasure. Thank you so much ♥

Just a correction. I noticed this one another story as well.

The demon was barley able to raise his hand to accept the metal.

That should barely, not barley. Barley is a grain. :)
